Getting Started with Buyology Labs

Follow this guide to run your first neuromarketing analysis in minutes.

Neural prediction models

Our neural prediction models combine Claude AI analysis with 6 ONNX machine learning models trained on real neuroscience data: 5 models grounded in published research from attention science, emotional neuroscience, memory encoding, purchase behavior, and cognitive load theory, plus a GSR (galvanic skin response) model trained on real physiological recordings measuring cognitive workload. Each analysis blends AI interpretation with data-driven ML calibration for research-grade accuracy.

1. Create Your Account

Sign up at buyologylabs.com with your email. You'll receive 3 free analysis credits to get started.

2. Upload a Creative Asset

From your dashboard, click "New Analysis". You can upload:

  • Print ads and broadsheet layouts
  • Social media creatives
  • Packaging designs
  • Store layouts and planograms
  • TV spot stills or key frames

Supported formats: JPG, PNG, WebP, PDF (max 10MB). Video: MP4, MOV, WebM (max 100MB, paid plans only).

3. Configure Target Demographics

Select who you want to test your creative against:

  • Age group (18-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55+)
  • Gender (Male, Female, All)
  • LSM tier (1-4 Low, 5-7 Mid, 8-10 High, All)
  • Province (any SA province or National)

4. Run the Analysis

Click "Analyse" and our AI models will predict how your target audience will neurologically respond. Analysis typically takes 15–45 seconds.

5. Read Your Report

Your report includes:

  • NeuroScore — 0–100 overall effectiveness rating
  • Six neural metrics: Attention, Emotional Engagement, Memory Encoding, Cognitive Load, Purchase Intent, Persuasion
  • Eye-tracking heatmap and scan path predictions
  • Geographic response map across SA provinces
  • Actionable recommendations to improve your creative

6. Compare Creatives (A/B Testing)

Upload a second creative and use the Compare feature to see which performs better across all metrics.

7. Share with Your Team

Create a team workspace to share analyses with colleagues and invite members by email.
